Dynamic entrepreneurs and change-makers

METal events range from talks with high-profile thinkers to connecting ideas and collaborations.

What drives company growth has radically changed in the last two years. It’s not enough to master digital, social or mobile media. There’s simply too much noise to cut through.

Instead, if you want people to pay attention to your brand, if you want them to buy your products, if you want to inspire them to promote you to others – you must become a movement.

It’s easier said than done. We’re surrounded by movements. #BlackLivesMatter #MarchForOurLives. #MeToo. So we think we understand them.

But how you do that as a company? How do you inspire everyone in your brand community to become part of a movement that builds your business.

Simon Mainwaring, CEO of We First, has spent the last seven years working with many of the world’s top purposeful brands to build movements that drive business growth.

He’ll unpack key steps you must take, critical questions you must answer, and the dynamics that will determine the movement brands of tomorrow.

Simon’s clients include Virgin, TOMS, Timberland, Sony Pictures, Seventh Generation, Sony Pictures, SAP, and Toyota. His book, We First was a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Amazon bestseller and strategy+business named it the Best Business Marketing Book of the Year.

He was included in Top 30 Global Brand Guru’s for 2018, Richtopia’s ‘Top 200 Philanthropists and Social Entrepreneurs 2017,’ and the 2016 United National Foundation’s ‘Global Influencers to Follow’. He’s been featured in BBC World News, The Guardian, Advertising Age, Inc., AMA, and Fast Company, and on the cover of the National Speaker’s Magazine.

He received the MAKE CHANGE, ‘Conscious Leadership’ Award for 2016 and was a finalist for the Conscious Company Leadership Awards in 2017.

Prior to starting We First Simon spent 15 years as an award-winning writer, Creative Director, and Worldwide Creative Director at many of the world’s top creative advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Wieden & Kennedy, and Ogilvy working on brands such a Nike, Coca-Cola, Toyota, and Motorola, receiving over 60 international awards at major advertising festivals.
