  • Bio:

Few individuals have impacted the financial community like Dennis Levine.  For over four decades, Dennis has led innovation in the financial services industry – orchestrating everything from intricate multi-billion-dollar mergers to business structures uniquely tuned to today’s international marketplace and technology convergence.  While a Managing Director at Drexel Burnham Lambert and Lehman Brothers before that, Dennis created many of the industry’s new approaches to M&A services, orchestrating some of the most complicated, groundbreaking transactions of the era while advising clients such as KKR, Ronald Perelman, Nelson Peltz, Carl Icahn, CBS, Time Warner and Boone Pickens.  After Drexel, Dennis ran Adasar Group, Inc. for over 25 years principally providing strategic advice and forging commercial alliances to technology companies around the world from Asia to the Middle East.  He then formed VFT Global to address food security issues and provide more efficient ways to grow produce sustainably.

Throughout his career, Dennis served as advisor and strategist to many leading companies, forging a network of high-level relationships spanning the global business and financial community – relationships that continue to help create value today.  With a time-to-market emphasis, Dennis’s global reach helped his clients design and execute their business plans while unlocking the value and accelerating the commercialization of new technologies.

Prior to Lehman Brothers, Dennis held positions with Smith, Barney and Citibank and wrote the book, Inside Out: An Insiders Account of Wall Street – one of the definitive books on Wall Street during the 1980s.  Continuing his tradition of helping to guide young professionals, Dennis lectures throughout the world at universities and organizations on a host of contemporary issues from business ethics to emerging technology trends.  Dennis has two grown children and has been married to his wife, Laurie, for 40 years.  He holds BBA and MBA degrees in Corporate Finance from CUNY’s Baruch School of Business.
