Killing Retail - Jeremy Barnett

04222017 Killing Retail

Ideas that transform into game changing companies / technologies often start with a re-imagination of a similar product or service. Time and time again, it’s not first to market, but the best to execute. What’s amazing today, most certainly will be not so amazing tomorrow. Today, eCommerce technologies can both predict buying habits and make relevant purchase suggestions seamlessly. Big Retailers have BIG Budgets and years upon years of data. So they shouldn’t they be evolving successfully as well? So this begs the question…Why is the retail dead pool getting bigger and bigger?

At this weeks METal, Jeremy will discuss data manipulation at scale supported by technology designed to eliminate un-needed operational costs. We will dive into how data can be used to optimize member experience, increase the Life Time Value, & lowering Customer Acquisition Costs AT SCALE. To achieve maximum ROI with this fundamental strategy, Jeremy will explain how user experience before purchase (sale) must be positioned correctly for maximum impact. In this talk, we will break down what it means to kill retail, while diving into some of the scrappy business practices Trendy Butler has implemented it's first two years of operations.

Jeremy Barnett is the CEO and Co Founder of the Los Angeles based start up Trendy Butler. The company is a continuity-based subscription service whose technology, leveraged analytics, and learning capabilities extend far beyond its current scope of services dedicated to Men’s fashion. At two years old, TB currently has 21,000 members, growing 10% MoM, & $25m in projected revenue for 2017. Along with the men’s fashion, Trendy Butler is repurposing their efficiency-inducing, decision-making learning engine for 3 new consumer categories in the next 24 months.
