Elissa has spent more than 20 years as a professional in the health, wellness, fitness and natural products industries in communications branding, sales management, and marketing. Elissa's prior public relations and marketing experience includes work on advancements in stem cell-related products and services.
She has worked as a consultant for integrative health companies. As a public relations and marketing consultant for international integrative health clinic Leonardis Klinik, she created promotional and educational materials and marketing strategies for and about Leonardis Klinik, their therapies and practices.
Elissa's dedication to and belief in integrative health and wellness is personal as well as professional. After the loss of two family members to sarcoma, she founded a non-profit organization dedicated to educating patients and their families about integrative healthcare options and guiding them to reputable integrative medical establishments, doctors and treatments.
Her advocacy on behalf of integrative health also extends to the political sector. Ms. Harris was involved with the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) in the development of the California Bill SB907, and then instrumental to its passage in 2003. The bill granted Naturopathic Doctors licensure in the state of California. As a result of her efforts, Elissa was appointed a public member of the California Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine by then Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
She has also successfully helped countless individuals reach and sustain healthy living goals through her years of wellness coaching and customized healthy living programs geared towards one's physical, emotional and environmental health. 10 years specifically were specialized for cancer patients and their families.
